Alibaba officially launched the ecosystem-level AI assistant "Qwen Xiaojiuwo," marking the completion and implementation of a unified digital human image in the Alibaba Qwen AI system.
As the core carrier of the integration of Alibaba's AI ecosystem, "Qwen Xiaojiuwo" has not only been launched on the Qwen App but will also be deeply embedded in Alibaba's entire ecosystem applications such as Taobao, Fliggy, AutoNavi, Alipay, and Damaic. Unlike traditional chatbots, this assistant is centered around "action capability," leveraging Alibaba's commercial ecosystem foundation to achieve a full-loop closed system from understanding user needs to transaction payment and fulfillment delivery.
Since the Spring Festival of 2026, Alibaba has continuously advanced the cross-service integration of its AI ecosystem, and it now supports complex tasks such as smart ordering, itinerary planning, cross-app ride-hailing, and flight and hotel bookings. As "Qwen Xiaojiuwo" is fully rolled out across application entry points, users will gain a unified and seamless intelligent experience in various scenarios such as shopping, travel, and office work.
This strategic move reflects that the focus of competition in large models has shifted from a single algorithm base to end-to-end ecosystem service capabilities.
