Under the backdrop of rapid development in artificial intelligence, Shanghai is actively promoting the implementation of AI safety regulation, further enhancing enterprises' capabilities in safety governance. Recently, the Shanghai Internet Association held its 5th General Meeting and 6th Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee meetings, officially establishing the Artificial Intelligence Working Committee and launching the "AI Empowering Safety Regulation" pilot project.

At this meeting, Shanghai Mole Network Technology Co., Ltd. was appointed as the deputy chair unit of the Artificial Intelligence Working Committee, actively participating in the launch of the pilot project and related thematic exchanges. Notably, during the pilot launch ceremony, Mole Network demonstrated an AI red team agent named "Elliot." This agent possesses capabilities aligned with regulatory scenario requirements, effectively integrating into the regulatory governance chain, providing strong technical support to relevant departments.

During the meeting, Luo Qinglan, CEO of Mole Network, delivered a speech titled "The Future Attacker," discussing changes in the attack-defense landscape driven by AI and the security governance challenges faced. He pointed out that as AI technology becomes more widespread, attack methods and defense strategies are constantly evolving, and enterprises need to plan ahead in terms of security protection to address potential threats.

The launch of this pilot project marks an important step for Shanghai in the field of AI safety regulation. Through the power of technology, enterprises can better cope with complex security challenges and improve overall security management levels. At the same time, regulatory authorities can leverage advanced technological means to enhance regulatory efficiency, ensuring cyber security and data security, and safeguarding the digital transformation of the entire society.

In the future, the Shanghai Internet Association will continue to cooperate with multiple parties to promote the deep application of artificial intelligence in safety regulation, striving to achieve a more efficient and secure internet environment.
