At the recent Hannover Industrial Fair, Siemens officially launched an industrial artificial intelligence (AI) product called Eigen Engineering Agent. This new product reflects Siemens' continued investment in the field of industrial AI, backed by a 1 billion euro investment plan aimed at improving the overall efficiency and quality of industrial engineering.
Eigen Engineering Agent will be integrated into the TIA Portal platform and is expected to be officially launched in the Chinese market in mid-June this year. The highlight of this AI product is that it can achieve a complete end-to-end process from task planning to execution and verification in real engineering systems. In other words, it can automatically handle a large amount of repetitive work, thereby significantly improving work efficiency. According to estimates, the execution efficiency of this AI product is 2 to 5 times higher than that of manual work, and the quality of the overall solution can be improved by up to 80%, while engineering efficiency is also expected to increase by 50%. This undoubtedly brings a revolutionary change to the engineering industry.
Currently, Eigen Engineering Agent has already been piloted in more than 100 companies across 19 countries around the world, showing strong market potential and application prospects. Siemens' innovation means that in the future, engineers will be freed from heavy daily tasks, allowing them to focus more on innovation and higher-value work.
In the context of the digitalization and intelligence trend, Siemens' latest release is undoubtedly a major step forward towards intelligent manufacturing. With the continuous advancement of technology, we look forward to seeing this AI product being widely applied across various industries, driving the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
