In the AI era, it's easier for individual developers to access Alipay and commercialize their applications.
On May 13, Alipay launched new capabilities for "AI Collection," upgraded the "Alipay Payment Integration Skill" in collaboration with the AI development platform Kuaizi, and introduced a new "Alipay Merchant Onboarding Skill." Developers can now complete the entire process from "creating an application" to "integrating Alipay payment" and then "merchant onboarding" in one go through natural language when developing AI programs. This enables "development as launch" and directly grants them the ability to receive payments.

Previously, the Alipay Payment Integration Skill had encapsulated basic payment capabilities into standardized components, allowing developers to call them through natural language under Vibe Coding mode. However, developers still needed to search across platforms for sandbox test account information, which might be confusing or hard to find for some technical "newcomers." If any issues occurred during the process, they would have to spend a lot of time troubleshooting.
After the upgrade, the Alipay Payment Integration Skill added a "Quick Sandbox" feature, allowing developers to automatically create isolated testing environments without needing an account, enabling no registration, no login, and real-time testing while developing. It also includes built-in payment integration problem-solving capabilities, allowing developers to directly ask about payment failure reasons in Kuaizi programming sessions and get solutions.

Aside from optimizing the development process, Alipay also launched the "Alipay Merchant Onboarding Skill" on the Kuaizi platform. After completing the development of a web application, developers can use this skill through conversation to plan an onboarding strategy. They can pass the merchant certification by providing three screenshots of the application, making it easy for individual developers to obtain a "passport" for commercialization.
"If I hadn't worked out the payment system, I wouldn't know how to sell my application. Now users can pay me directly when they open the product page, which is much more convenient!" "Sunshine Xiaowen," who graduated just one year ago, developed a web application on the Kuaizi platform that helps users practice AI prompts. She successfully integrated Alipay payment within 24 hours using Alipay's Skill.
A graduate in teacher education with no prior technical development experience or coding skills, "Sunshine Xiaowen" only recently started learning AI programming and is now earning money through her self-explored AI prompt learning methods. "AI is not exclusive to professionals; it allows ordinary people to be seen and achieve their creative value at a low cost," said "Sunshine Xiaowen," expressing the sentiment of countless AI entrepreneurs.

Industry insiders stated that Alipay continues to build payment infrastructure for the AI era. Through standardized and intelligent Skill tools, it systematically lowers the technical barriers and commercialization costs of AI application development, attracting more mass developers to join the AI innovation wave and further activating the AI industry ecosystem.
