The battle for general artificial intelligence is rapidly spreading into the physical world. On May 31st, Moshen Intelligence, a embodied intelligence company incubated by the Deep Learning Lab of Fudan University, officially launched the world's first general embodied brain specifically designed for robots -
Targeting the pain points of current industry mainstream VLA models in spatial perception, long-term planning, and real-machine robustness, this model has achieved a four-dimensional integration of spatial structure, temporal evolution, physical consistency, and execution robustness for the first time. It can be compatible with multi-modal perception inputs such as RGB images and depth point clouds, and encodes complex environments into compact spatiotemporal states. The upper layer supports long-term task inference of hundreds of seconds, while the lower layer precisely outputs detailed action segments. This intelligent closed-loop of "understanding the world, inferring the future, planning actions, and executing error correction" completely avoids the pitfalls of pure visual inference.
Based on full-chain self-research, the model has built six core technology barriers. In addition to spatiotemporal integrated native modeling and native 3D perception based on point clouds, the model's built-in physical consistency engine integrates collision detection and dynamic constraints, eliminating unreasonable actions from the bottom up. Moreover, its self-developed model compression and quantization distillation technology has successfully realized lightweight deployment of a 100-billion-parameter large model on robot edge chips, significantly reducing the industrial computing power threshold.
This "Fudan Iron Triangle" team, which combines hard-core research and full-stack engineering capabilities, has also shown outstanding performance. The company's research foundation is led by Professor Chen Tao from Fudan University, while the engineering implementation is guided by Dr. Zhang Yimin, former chief scientist at Intel China, and an NVIDIA technology leader. Commercialization is led by Mu Zelin, a post-95s Fudan consecutive entrepreneur. Since 2021, the team has completed seven generations of action model technology updates and has won championships in several global top competitions such as ICCV and CVPR.
Outstanding technical strength has triggered a dual explosion in capital and commercial markets. Moshen Intelligence has completed five rounds of financing in a short period of time, and its 300 million RMB Pre-A round financing received more than five times the excess subscription. In terms of industrialization, the company has reached in-depth cooperation with leading enterprises in various real-world scenarios, including Yushu Technology, Houchuan Technology, and Yijia Elderly Care. Among its strategic partners are more than five trillion-yuan-level industry leaders. Over the next three years, the company expects to secure 100 million yuan in orders to fully accelerate the large-scale implementation of humanoid robots, quadrupedal robots, and other types of hardware.
