The MiMo technology team under Xiaomi officially launched the new AI coding assistance tool - MiMo Code on June 11. Developed based on the OpenCode technology foundation, this tool aims to provide developers with more efficient and intelligent coding support through a series of deep optimization features.
In terms of architecture design, MiMo Code introduces several cutting-edge technologies, including a persistent memory system and infinite context processing capabilities, which can better understand the logical needs of developers. At the same time, the tool supports model Agent collaborative optimization and has an innovative Compose mode, further simplifying the execution process of complex programming tasks. In terms of ecological compatibility, MiMo Code demonstrates high flexibility, supporting integration with mainstream large models in the industry such as DeepSeek, Kimi, and GLM, allowing developers to choose the most suitable computing model according to their project needs.
As an open-source product, MiMo Code adopts the MIT open-source license, encouraging global developers to jointly participate in the iteration and optimization of the tool. In addition, to help users get started quickly, the tool includes a time-limited free multimodal model called MiMo V2.5. By deeply integrating AI with code, it aims to significantly improve developers' daily coding efficiency and experience.
Industry analysts believe that Xiaomi's open-sourcing of MiMo Code not only demonstrates its deep layout in the AI development toolchain but also provides developers with a more autonomous and scalable programming assistance option, further promoting the construction and prosperity of the domestic AI programming ecosystem.
