Recently, the U1 series of humanoid robots, which focuses on emotional companionship under UB Tech, has started pre-sales. Within just 10 days, it has received more than 3,800 pre-orders, with the deposit amount exceeding ten million yuan. For UB Tech, whose annual sales of humanoid robots last year were only 1,079 units, this number is undoubtedly a significant breakthrough in the commercialization process of this field.

The U1 series currently offers two customized models: a male version with a height of 183 cm and a weight of 42 kg; and a female version with a height of 168 cm and a weight of 35.2 kg. In terms of hardware configuration, this model features 88 high-degree-of-freedom motion joints, supports Wi-Fi connection, and has a single charge lasting approximately 2 to 4 hours. Notably, the product has not yet obtained the "3C" certification, and it clearly sets access rules that limit its purchase and use to adults only.

Aside from hardware specifications, the biggest technological highlight of the U1 series lies in its built-in "raising-style" exclusive emotional large model. This model supports local encrypted storage of memories and can be personalized adjusted based on user interaction habits. Combined with features such as multi-dimensional appearance customization and IP collaboration, this product has attracted widespread attention on social media, with netizens labeling it as "robot model" and "cyber girlfriend."

From a practical perspective, this robot creates an extremely realistic interactive atmosphere through detailed movement simulation, such as natural blinking and head turning, combined with post-purchase makeup customization. Although the official retail price has not been announced yet, the popularity of pre-sales orders has already proven the strong market demand for humanoid robots to transition from "tool attributes" to "emotional partners."

As related technologies continue to iterate, how to balance personalized emotional interaction with user privacy security, as well as the compliance usage boundaries of the product without certification, will become core challenges that must be addressed during the process of scaling up the application of such products.
