The interface of Alipay may soon undergo a complete "intelligent restructuring." Recently, there have been reports that Ant Group is secretly testing a new AI version of Alipay internally, with plans to comprehensively revamp the app and deeply integrate artificial intelligence into the payment and lifestyle service ecosystem.
According to sources, the most obvious change in this new version lies in the upgrade of its interaction logic. Users will be able to directly access the native AI interface with one click, giving instructions to the AI assistant "Abao" through text or voice. Whether it's complex financial management or daily lifestyle services, operations that previously required multiple menu clicks can now be automatically executed with just a simple command.
Regarding this major product development, a source close to Ant Group revealed that the company has elevated AI Agent (artificial intelligence agent) to a strategic project level. Under this strategy, Alipay aims to transform from a single payment tool into a more user-friendly "super assistant."
In fact, this move has already shown signs. At the previous AI Payment Ecosystem Conference, Alipay had already launched several related products, building a new service system adapted to the intelligent agent business model. It now supports about 95% of the general intelligent agent frameworks in the market, providing a solid technical foundation for the full introduction of the AI assistant.
However, regarding the progress of the test and the specific release schedule, Ant Group has not yet given a clear response and has chosen not to comment. Although the exact release date remains unknown, it is foreseeable that as large-scale model technology continues to be applied, AI assistants are expected to reshape the interaction paradigm of mobile payments, making complex financial services easily accessible.
