In the macOS 27 Beta2 update released last week, Apple blocked a terminal command that had been widely circulated in the developer community. Previously, in the Beta1 version, users could bypass the official waitlist by entering a specific command in the Mac terminal to unlock the full features of the new Siri AI. Now, this shortcut has been completely closed, and users who want to try it out can only patiently wait in line.

New methods found to bypass the block
Although the official shortcut is no longer available, netizens have discovered another alternative way to reduce waiting time in the Reddit community. This method requires users to first generate several images using TuLan (a platform for generating images) in the latest Beta version of iOS 27 or macOS 27, then click the "More" button in the top right corner and select "Image has a problem" to submit feedback. After multiple submissions, returning to "Settings > Siri" may allow the system to open access to the new Siri AI earlier.
The new Siri AI is a major upgrade of the intelligent assistant introduced by Apple at WWDC 2026, based on the Apple Intelligence large model technology, with stronger context understanding, multi-turn dialogue, and task execution capabilities. However, due to computing power and server limitations, Apple uses a batch release waitlist mechanism, causing many users who have upgraded their systems to still be unable to experience it immediately.
It's not surprising that Apple blocked the terminal command. Apple has always taken a zero-tolerance approach to "gray techniques" that bypass official procedures. This not only maintains the fairness of the product experience but also avoids server overload caused by unexpected users. However, the new discovery by netizens of using TuLan to "trigger" the AI function also reflects the high demand for the new Siri AI. When Apple will fully open the waitlist remains a focus for Apple fans around the world.
