Latest research has unveiled a novel approach that allows one large language model to jailbreak another, thereby exposing potential security vulnerabilities. This algorithm successfully breached 60% of the configurations of both GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, requiring as few as dozens of queries in some cases, with an average runtime of about five minutes. The semantic nature of PAIR's adversarial prompts enables enterprises to identify and rectify vulnerabilities in LLMs, marking a new trend in the optimization of LLMs.
