On July 10, China Mobile's "New Message" service officially launched the "New Message Claw" application account. This service creates a SMS remote control channel that does not require downloading and installing an app, specifically for various desktop Claws (commonly known as "lobsters" in the industry) open-source AI action agents, effectively solving the dual pain points of users not having their computers nearby and missing intelligent agent push notifications.

As an action AI (Action AI) agent capable of independently operating computers, processing files, writing code, and organizing reports, Claw had previously lacked a convenient remote control access point on mobile devices. China Mobile has now addressed this gap by upgrading its operator SMS system. In practical applications, "New Message Claw" demonstrates multiple core advantages: users do not need to download specialized software, they can directly send text messages within SMS to issue tasks, ensuring safe and simple usage; it supports custom scheduled summaries of work information and strong SMS reminders, breaking through mobile network restrictions to ensure important messages are not missed; relying on a dedicated operator channel, the service offers low latency, high delivery rates, and compliance stability, and users will not be charged for sending instructions via SMS.

Currently, "New Message Claw" has successfully been compatible with four mainstream intelligent agent products: Feishu OpenClaw, QClaw, native OpenClaw, and AutoClaw. Users only need to complete real-name authentication, copy the received SMS content into the corresponding chat box of the desktop intelligent agent to complete the connection and binding. It should be noted that this service is only a remote control channel, and when executing tasks, it will still consume the Token quota of the desktop OpenClaw.

With the deepening of large model technology toward the application layer, action agents with actual execution capabilities have become the focus of the industry. By integrating AI technology with traditional communication infrastructure, China Mobile not only provides a high-reach mobile access point for open-source intelligent agents, but also offers an innovative reference model for operator business transformation and service generalization in the AI era.
