This product is not simply digitizing printed books, but rather building a personalized reading companion through AI, drawing on Socratic dialogue logic to guide children to read independently, think critically, and express themselves actively, creating a complete reading loop of "stimulating interest - deep understanding - output of results."
Ma Min, Vice President of Yuanfudao Group, stated that generative AI is improving the efficiency of information access, but the stronger the information capability, the more users need to have independent judgment and autonomous thinking skills. AI is good at solving existing problems, but it cannot replace human ability to identify problems and explore innovations. This is also the important value of deep reading.
Ma Min pointed out that in the field of reading education, there has long been a challenge of balancing high-quality content, scalable services, and personalized guidance. In family settings, parents find it difficult to consistently accompany children in deep reading; professional one-on-one reading companions are costly and hard to popularize; traditional reading courses often focus on knowledge transmission, lacking space for developing expression and critical thinking skills.
To address these issues, Yuanfu AI Big Reading provides a personalized reading experience through an AI reading companion model. The product combines movie-grade 3D immersive animation and professional voiceover content, designing unique reading companions for different books. For example, when reading "Journey to the West," the system offers a humorous storyteller companion; when reading "The Little Prince," it uses a pilot character to enhance interactive experience, lowering the entry barrier for teenagers to start reading.
In the core reading process, the product uses a multi-round progressive questioning approach to guide children to think about the text content, rather than directly providing standard answers. After completing the entire book, the system will generate a personalized reading sharing short film based on the child's reading process, interaction records, and thinking content, strengthening the display of reading achievements through the "Shining Moment."
