At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Zhang Wei, founder of Zhujidi, delivered an important speech, stating that humanoid robots are currently in a period of rapid exponential growth. He mentioned that the "robot brain" of Zhujidi has reached an intelligence level similar to GPT-3. He pointed out that current technological progress is not just linear but represents a breakthrough leap.
Zhang Wei mentioned in his speech that Zhujidi was founded in 2022 and positions itself as a product-driven company with technology at its core. He emphasized that manufacturing the robot body is relatively easy, but the real challenge lies in combining artificial intelligence with data from the physical world to achieve more efficient intelligent applications. According to his judgment, physical AI is the core capability driving the development of this industry.

He further explained that the current development of embodied intelligence technology is similar to the "robot brain" entering the early stage of GPT-3. This "brain" is not a single model but consists of multiple parts, including language models, vision models, and task planning, forming a collaborative system. Zhang Wei believes that the key to the future lies in how to coordinate these technologies in real time at the millisecond level and optimize them with hardware.
In terms of commercialization, Zhang Wei proposed the idea of "general body + APP." He pointed out that single-skill robot applications have limited value, but by maintaining a general configuration and gradually adding skills, a multi-functional intelligent agent will eventually be formed. He warned the industry not to blindly follow the development path of large models, but rather to enter specific scenarios as soon as they have basic capabilities, so that practical applications can feed back to model optimization.

With multiple rounds of financing supported by leading institutions such as Alibaba, Zhujidi's industrialization and internationalization capabilities are gradually strengthening. Zhang Wei's speech not only demonstrated the huge potential of embodied intelligence technology but also provided new insights into the direction of industry development.
