August 11th news, NVIDIA announced the establishment of an independent computing power financing platform in cooperation with six financial institutions: Apollo, BlackRock, Fortress, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR, aiming to mobilize over $50 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure construction. NVIDIA has signed a memorandum of understanding with these institutions on August 10th, and the cooperation will take effect after the final agreement is signed.

According to the plan, NVIDIA will establish a dedicated large-scale fund pool with its partners, providing financial support at competitive financing rates to customers, helping enterprises, cloud service providers and AI development institutions obtain the computing resources needed for building AI infrastructure.
This collaboration focuses on expanding AI computing infrastructure. With the continuous growth of demand for training and inference of generative AI models, data centers, GPU clusters, and energy infrastructure have become the core of industry competition, and substantial capital investment has driven technology companies and financial institutions to explore new financing models.
NVIDIA hopes that this financing platform will reduce the financial pressure on customers expanding their computing power, accelerate the construction of AI "factories", and provide more extensive computing resource support for global enterprises and developers. This move also shows that the competition in the AI industry is extending from model and chip capabilities to computing infrastructure and capital system construction. A
