August 12, the doctor application under Ant Group, "Good Doctor Professional Edition," was officially upgraded to "Ant Afu Professional Edition." It now provides millions of doctors nationwide with two AI assistants: one for medical support and another for AI avatars. These tools enable doctors to efficiently manage patients, conduct research, and start online consultations with a single click. While doctors serve more patients, patients can also access timely and professional healthcare services more conveniently.
As the first doctor AI workstation in China covering the full range of online consultations, patient management, and research scenarios, Afu Professional Edition has integrated with the Ant Afu App, which has over 100 million users. This marks a global first in achieving a dual-side layout and deep integration between doctors and patients.

Currently, Afu Professional Edition is deeply integrated with Afu App, making it the first AI platform globally to achieve dual-side layout and deep integration between doctors and patients. Public data shows that the user base of Afu App has exceeded 100 million.
Ant Afu believes that hospitals and doctors will always be the main players in diagnosis and treatment, and the application of artificial intelligence in the medical field must ensure "Doctor in the loop (doctor's supervision)." Previously, the Afu App had already launched "AI Q&A + Doctor Supervision" service in the dermatology field. Afu’s answers could be reviewed and confirmed by doctors from key hospitals, and the consistency rate between the doctors’ review results and Afu’s analysis exceeds 90%.
According to reports, to meet more users' needs, this service has now been expanded to 16 departments including pregnancy, gynecology, and otolaryngology on the Afu App, allowing more doctors to leverage AI to expand their professional capabilities and serve more patients. After Afu Professional Edition and Afu App are integrated, both platforms can more widely and accurately connect and match the needs of doctors and patients in high-frequency scenarios such as health Q&A and doctor supervision.
At the same time, after the upgrade, Afu Professional Edition has opened up internet hospital business access to all medical institutions across the country for the first time. This means that, in addition to registered doctors from Good Doctor Internet Hospital, other hospitals and doctors can join as institutions and complete internet hospital operations such as online consultations, follow-up management, and patient file maintenance through “one account, one platform,” without frequently switching between multiple systems.
Currently, the Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center has signed up first, and the internet hospital system within the hospital and its medical consortium will be fully integrated into Afu Professional Edition. The upgraded Afu Professional Edition now includes two core modules: "AI Medical Assistant" and "AI Avatar Assistant," covering the entire workflow of doctors from consultation to academic research, from patient service to long-term management.
In terms of patient management, when doctors open the Afu Professional Edition app, they can click on "My AI Avatar Assistant" on the home page and upload relevant information to create a personalized "AI Avatar Assistant." Before the consultation, the AI assistant can help doctors understand the patient's condition in advance through pre-consultation and quickly complete medical records and key analysis.
