JD.com's Qixian Coffee announced today that its first 24-hour intelligent unmanned coffee shop will open on August 16th at Galaxy Soho in Beijing, located on the B1 floor of Galaxy SOHO-A. On the opening day, the store will launch a 24-hour robot-made live stream and attempt to set a Guinness World Record. During the live stream, customers who visit the store can act as witnesses and receive free robot-made coffee. This store is designed around the concept of "24/7, fully automated" and offers a range of drinks such as coffee, sparkling water, tea, and probiotic juice available all day long, with orders processed and made on demand.

From extraction, preparation to serving, the entire process is managed by robots and AI. The store's smart screen displays key steps such as pouring, making, and putting into cabinets. AI + Robot covers the entire closed-loop from production to delivery, with no human contact throughout. In terms of personalized customization, Qixian Coffee allows users to freely adjust the coffee strength, sweetness, and juice concentration from 1% to 100%, even allowing for a customized Americano with a ratio of "49% coffee strength and 51% sweetness". Users can also name their own drinks and generate shareable cards.
The AI recommendation feature is about to be launched, offering suggestions based on physical condition
More importantly, an AI personalization recommendation feature will soon be launched. The system can intelligently suggest the appropriate amount of caffeine intake based on the user's physical condition, upgrading the decision of "what to drink" from a guesswork approach to a data-based one. This design aligns with the current trend in health management applications - when a cup of coffee can read your body's condition, the retail scene's intelligence has indeed taken a new step forward.
As the world's first 24-hour unmanned coffee shop, Qixian's move is not only another experiment by JD.com in integrating instant retail with offline business models but also reflects how "unmanned + AI" is moving from concept demonstrations to daily consumption. Compared to traditional stores constrained by manpower scheduling, the 24/7 unmanned model has clear cost and coverage advantages during night hours; while the Guinness live stream and challenge marketing have quickly generated buzz for the store's opening phase. Whether it can sustain itself as a repeat purchase business after the initial excitement remains the true test for this robot coffee shop.
