Google announced a series of AI tools for learning scenarios in Search and Gemini, including AI-generated interactive visualizations, 3D simulations, student-specific learning centers, customized practice quizzes, and more, further strengthening Gemini's positioning as a learning assistant and accelerating competition with OpenAI and educational AI startups.

After this update, students can generate interactive learning content through Google Search for complex topics. For example, when searching for "pH value," the AI overview can provide visual charts to help understand basic concepts; users can also ask more specific questions, allowing the AI to generate personalized interactive experiences, such as displaying the distribution of citrus fruits on the pH scale.

Google has also enhanced its learning assistance capabilities in Search, allowing users to generate customized practice quizzes for multiple fields such as science, math, humanities, and foreign languages. For example, entering "create a study quiz with SAT high-frequency vocabulary" will generate interactive test content. In the coming weeks, Google Lens will also launch new interactive learning features, enabling students to upload photos of study materials so that AI can explain concepts, identify errors, and provide problem-solving guidance. Additionally, Search supports generating study materials based on files such as PDFs, documents, and slides, helping users organize key content.

In terms of Gemini, Google has introduced a multi-step research report feature. Users can ask Gemini to research a specific topic, and the system will complete the background research, notify the user upon completion, and support voice discussions and follow-up Q&A through Gemini Live. At the same time, Gemini now has the ability to generate functional 3D simulations, creating interactive models based on prompts, such as displaying a three-dimensional DNA structure and supporting operations like rotation and zooming.

Additionally, Google will introduce a dedicated learning center within the Gemini app, offering tools such as study notes, memory cards, and practice quizzes. This update reflects Google's ongoing strategy to push AI into educational scenarios. In the future, competition among AI assistants in personalized learning, knowledge understanding, and improving learning efficiency will intensify.
