SAP has recently collaborated with the professional esports club Team Liquid to develop an AI voice intelligent application, aiming to convert in-game and training team voice communications into structured match data, providing support for professional teams to analyze matches, optimize strategies, and enhance players' competitive performance.
The application can automatically receive multi-channel audio from matches or training sessions and accurately separate individual voice streams of different players. On this basis, the system further completes speech transcription, speaker identification, and emotion analysis, transforming previously scattered and disordered team communications into structured data corresponding to the match timeline, and generating complete timestamps for each segment.
By correlating voice content with the match process, teams can more systematically analyze players' communication methods, emotional changes, and decision-making processes at different stages of the match, thus assisting in review and training. This collaboration also demonstrates that AI voice technology is extending from general transcription to specialized data analysis scenarios, offering new technical pathways for refined training and competitive performance evaluation in the esports industry.
