According to "Blue Whale Technology," Midea's new generation AI cooking glasses are under development and are expected to be launched in March next year. Unlike the first generation, which was only for offline display, this generation will be sold directly to consumers. The new product is about 89 grams lighter than the previous one, the display solution has changed from full-color to monochrome, and the charging method has been replaced with a replaceable battery solution.
On the software side, the product is equipped with the "Master Chef" AI cooking large model, which has "AI algorithms for kitchen scenarios and logic for integration with kitchen appliances." The algorithm comes from Midea's Chengdu team, and the light guide optical module is provided by Gudong Intelligent.
From the prototype to mass production and sales, this hardware that "wears" an AI large model in the kitchen marks that home appliance manufacturers are extending their competition from the stove to wearable devices.
