Previously, Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, had called for "slowing down" the advancement of artificial intelligence capabilities, and both Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, and Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, publicly expressed their support. Huang, however, held a different view, suggesting that such proposals might align with forces that do not want the AI industry to continue developing. During the call, Trump stated that the United States would not slow down AI development due to political factors or external influences such as China, and he said, "They will not succeed," which Huang agreed with.
