On September 22, Tencent Huan Yuan officially launched Hy Image3.5 preview. The professional film and television intelligent platform WorkRally of Tencent Video was the first to integrate this model, and it will be freely available to platform creators for two weeks starting from now, covering professional creative scenarios such as script breakdowns, film and television materials, character and scene settings.
WorkRally is the first industrial-level AI platform for high-quality content production launched by Tencent Video, covering the entire workflow from script analysis, storyboard generation, content production, asset management, and team collaboration. It has three core capabilities: expert-level Agent, S+ level film and animation skill library, and intelligent production line. It currently offers three versions: AI comic, professional film and television, and high-quality animation. After integrating Hy Image3.5 preview, the model's capabilities can be directly used in concept design, script breakdowns, and film and television material generation, and it is integrated with the platform's asset management and version iteration capabilities.
Creators only need to register and log in to WorkRally with WeChat or a phone number to directly use this model. The platform provides three access paths: on the homepage "Infinite Canvas," the intelligent director can directly generate images; or after creating a new canvas, select Hy Image3.5preview at the image generation node to repeatedly refine a single shot; alternatively, use the script workflow to call the model when generating assets and storyboards in bulk according to the script. These three paths correspond to rapid experimentation, single-shot refinement, and large-scale production, covering major creative stages from concept design to final storyboards.
The live-action AI premium drama "Xing Biao" launched on Tencent Video on September 20 was produced by Tencent Video and jointly produced by Biyu Juyi. It uses a combination of live-action shooting and AI generation, and the process of storyboard generation, integration of live-action footage with generated content, and multi-version shot iteration were all completed on WorkRally.
The Hy Image3.5preview accessed this time is a high-value professional image generation model. According to blind tests involving hundreds of professional creators, its capabilities have improved by about 30% compared to Hy Image3.0. It supports text-to-image and image-to-image generation, allows uploading up to five images as references per session, and can output up to 2K resolution. It has been significantly improved in text rendering and layout, realism and stylistic expression, and editing consistency. In terms of cost, the pricing for 2K images via Tencent Cloud API is 0.15 yuan per image, and only the output image is charged. During the free trial period, creators using this model on WorkRally will not be charged separately.
During the development of Hy Image3.5preview, the WorkRally product and algorithm teams also participated in deep co-development. They customized upgrades for professional creative scenarios such as script breakdowns, film and television materials, character and scene settings, including data and professional evaluation aspects, which helped optimize the model in aesthetic expression and reference editing consistency, making the generated results more suitable for real production scenarios and better meeting the needs of WorkRally users. In addition, based on the new base model, WorkRally independently developed several film and television-specific image features, including multi-camera image generation, image re-lighting, aperture adjustment, and visual reference editing, with superior vertical performance.

In addition, the overseas AI creation tool OnSolo has also integrated Hy Image3.5 and is offering a two-week free trial for members. OnSolo focuses on short dramas, animations, professional series, and interactive films/FMV abroad, supporting end-to-end production from inspiration to script, character setting, storyboard, and final production. The new model further improves character consistency, text rendering, and single-element refinement. Registration allows free use, while members can use it unlimitedly, lowering the threshold for individuals and independent teams from creation to overseas distribution.
