Under the benefit mechanism, Douyin adopts a subscription plus quota operation model: users can upgrade to a paid subscription to gain priority during peak hours or purchase creation quota packages to expand usage. Quotas are calculated based on the current period and the past seven days, starting from the time of use, and the page supports quota reset and subscription record inquiry.
Notably, this is the latest in a series of free subscription benefits provided by Douyin: subscription records show that users previously received a one-month standard package in June and a one-month premium package in July. Continuous free promotions for all users are generally seen as an operational move by Douyin to lower the payment threshold, cultivate subscription habits, and expand the base of paying users, continuously preparing for future conversion to paid users.
