Huawei has officially announced the launch of Xiaoyi Work. As a new AI work assistant designed for daily office work, code development, and creative creation, this service is deeply compatible with HarmonyOS phones, tablets, and computers. Users can unlock it by updating the Xiaoyi App in the app market. The official also launched a major benefit, allowing users to enjoy a 31-day free trial of 1000 AI points upon their first use.
Regarding functional coverage, Xiaoyi Work comprehensively covers diverse office scenarios such as market research, document processing, PPT creation, data analysis, content creation, and code development. After users issue a goal through natural language, the system can autonomously break down tasks, reasonably plan steps, call underlying tools, and efficiently carry out execution. The entire process is clearly visible, and users can perform manual review at key nodes.
In terms of cross-device collaboration and execution environment, Xiaoyi Work supports seamless connection between phones, tablets, and computers. Users can not only remotely submit tasks, check real-time progress, and accept final results through mobile devices, but also freely choose to run tasks on cloud or local computers based on the actual software, files, and work environment required. In addition, the system can automatically match experts for collaborative work and support connecting multiple computers simultaneously.
In terms of task continuation and multi-device synchronization, work tasks on computers can run continuously, and users can follow up using their phone after leaving the computer. Once the task is successfully completed, the relevant files and processing results will be automatically synchronized. Typical application examples provided by Huawei include: optimizing project presentation PPTs and accurately summarizing core points, optimizing core function logic and adding code comments, designing activity visual posters and unifying the overall color scheme.
