Recently, Elon Musk's SpaceX AI company officially announced the launch of a new dedicated email feature for its smart assistant, Grok Bot. This feature means that AI assistants are no longer limited to simple conversation interactions and now have an independent digital "contact point," enabling them to more deeply engage in users' daily tasks and multi-step collaborations.
According to official details, the dedicated email address assigned to each AI assistant will end with mail.grokbot.com. Users can try to customize the prefix of the address, which will be checked for availability by the system. The entire claiming process is very convenient; users just need to type "claim your email address" in the chat interface or tag the corresponding account on X to complete the setup.

In practical application scenarios, this dedicated email has a wide range of practical value. It not only helps users register for various online services, but also actively contact merchants to handle matters, and assist users in efficiently arranging various schedules. This means that AI assistants can truly participate in complex tasks requiring email communication as an "independent identity."
As a product positioned as a "permanent AI colleague," Grok Bot runs on a cloud computer equipped with a browser, file system, and terminal. It not only helps users with work through an independent name, role, and continuously accumulated context, but also supports long-term tasks running in the background even after users close their computers or phones. The release of this dedicated email feature, combined with previously launched capabilities such as content monitoring, Shopify order tracking, and inventory management, further expands the boundaries of AI assistants in real productivity scenarios. Currently, this feature is being rolled out gradually, and specific permission settings and availability will be determined by official releases.
