Tencent Cloud's AI collaboration tool TeamAI (github.com/Tencent/teamai-cli) was open-sourced on October 10th. The project has been used internally at Tencent Cloud and has made it to the GitHub Trending list.

According to the information, TeamAI is based on Git, unifying team Skills, work standards, tool configurations, and project knowledge in a repository, allowing them to be reviewed, updated, and version-controlled like code, then synchronized to each member's Agent, achieving one-time configuration for universal reuse. It currently supports 16 Agents including WorkBuddy, CodeBuddy, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.

When members submit skills, a branch is automatically created, and a merge request is initiated for review. After merging, the Agent with a session start Hook will automatically pull updates at the beginning of a new conversation. The shared scope also includes MCP tool configurations, Rules, and sub-Agents; recently, the ability to centrally distribute model configurations has been added.

TeamAI will prompt members to share experiences when there are repeated corrections or failed tool calls, and the Agent will organize the information into documents for future retrieval. According to an official test involving 13 R&D tasks, the comprehensive score of a low-cost model incorporating team knowledge increased by 6.1%, and the cost of model calls decreased by 76%. This tool has also been integrated into Tencent Cloud's intelligent agent management platform ClawPro.
