Samsung will officially launch its first AI smart glasses (possibly named Galaxy Glasses) in November 2026. The product is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1Gen1 chip, runs the Android XR operating system, and deeply integrates Google's Gemini artificial intelligence technology.
The standard lens version of the glasses weighs only 41 grams, features 2GB of memory, 64GB of storage space, a 12-megapixel camera, supports 3K video recording at 30fps, and includes four microphones and open speaker. The battery life can last up to 9 hours on a single charge, and with the charging case, it can reach up to 72 hours.
In terms of sales, Samsung has collaborated with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to offer multiple design styles, and will start selling them in Samsung Experience Stores in the United States and the official websites of the partner brands from November. Currently, the smart glasses market is in a period of rapid growth, with Omdia data showing that global annual shipments have exceeded 4.2 million pairs. Samsung's entry into the market will further intensify competition with tech giants such as Meta and Apple.
