Midjourney announces the public beta testing of the alpha version of the V6 model. Users can experience it through the '/settings' dropdown menu or by entering '--v6' after the prompt. The new features of V6 include more accurate and longer prompts, improved coherence and model knowledge, simple text drawing capabilities, and subtle enhancement and creative modes. The prompts for V6 are significantly different from those for V5, making them more sensitive and requiring users to relearn how to write prompts to avoid junk prompts. The Midjourney V6 model is expected to be officially released soon.
