After a series of organizational adjustments, Meta's new AI architecture has been officially revealed. Zuckerberg has made a significant move by hiring top talent to create a new organization centered around the "Super Intelligence Lab," which now includes over 3,400 employees. The head of this new team is Alexandr Wang, who serves as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO), with Nat Friedman, former CEO of GitHub, as his deputy, primarily responsible for AI products and applications.

The core of the new organization consists of four teams. First is the AGI fundamental research team, which brings together many top talents. Next is the AI product team, mainly developing the Meta AI assistant, similar to ChatGPT. In addition, there is a basic AI laboratory led by Turing Award winner Yann LeCun, continuing to advance fundamental AI research. Finally, there is a small team focused on the development of Llama5, aiming to further promote Meta's progress in large model technology.

This new structure has drawn attention from the outside world, especially its similarity to ByteDance. Meta's goal is to pursue "fewer people but more GPUs," an efficient organizational model that has had a significant impact in the industry. At the same time, Meta is actively attracting top talent from companies such as OpenAI, Apple, and Google to enhance its AI technological competitiveness.

However, this adjustment has also caused some internal reactions. Members of the original Llama team have expressed doubts about the newly hired high-paid talents, believing that their capabilities have not yet been proven. Furthermore, Meta's Super Intelligence Lab currently appears to be highly visible but also mysterious, requiring multiple security checks to enter the lab.

Recently, two AI leaders from Apple have also joined Meta, further strengthening the technical team of Meta. These actions indicate that Zuckerberg is adopting a more open attitude, actively reorganizing the AI team, and striving to secure a place in the competitive AI field.
