Under ByteDance's Volcano Engine, its AI IDE product TRAE has undergone significant upgrades. The upgraded TRAE provides developers with more practical features, including code completion, local code generation, as well as support for complex tasks such as code refactoring, bulk modifications, and knowledge questioning. ByteDance stated that the next version of TRAE will integrate different Agents and tools to coordinate task flows, realizing automatic chain operations, which marks its gradual shift from AI-assisted coding to supporting the entire AI development process.
