NVIDIA Opens Source Autonomous Driving Model, Pioneering the New Era of Physical AI
During CES 2026, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced that the 'ChatGPT moment' for physical AI has arrived. He predicted that there will be one billion cars with high or fully autonomous driving in the future, and driverless taxi services will benefit first. He showcased the open-source model Alpamayo, calling it the world's first autonomous driving model capable of thinking and reasoning.
