Tech company Entrupy claims that its AI technology achieves a 99.1% accuracy rate, perfectly authenticating second-hand luxury goods. Users utilize the AI authenticator by inserting Entrupy's hardware device into their smartphones to capture product photos. The AI tool can authenticate handbags from brands like Louis Vuitton and Chanel, making it popular among luxury resale merchants. Entrupy's co-founder stated that the purpose of AI authentication is to enhance trust and enable third-party verification. TikTok has partnered with Entrupy to use its AI technology for identification.
