World's First! Feiyu-1.0 Large Model Makes a Stunning Debut: All Changes in the South China Sea at Your Fingertips, the Era of Intelligent Edge-side Weather and Ocean Forecasting Has Begun
On February 7th, the world's first ocean-atmosphere bidirectional coupled intelligent large model, Feiyu-1.0, was unveiled in Guangzhou. This model is specifically customized for the South China Sea, capable of simulating the interaction between the ocean and atmosphere, significantly enhancing regional weather and ocean forecasting capabilities. It marks China's transition from following to leading in this field. It is not only a forecasting tool but also able to interpret ocean-atmosphere interactions, providing powerful support for ocean research and disaster prevention and mitigation.
