OpenAI Collaborates with Firmus in Malaysia, Total Capacity Signed Exceeds 900 Megawatts
Australian AI infrastructure company Firmus has reached a long-term strategic cooperation with OpenAI. OpenAI will purchase dedicated computing power from two AI factories in Malaysia operated by Firmus and become an anchor customer. This collaboration has enabled Firmus to sign a total computing capacity exceeding 900 megawatts. The company currently operates seven AI factories in Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia, two of which are equipped with advanced hardware configurations.
