Goldman Slams: AI's Contribution to US GDP Growth in 2025 Is Almost Zero
Goldman pointed out that despite the significant investment by American companies in AI, the contribution of AI to the growth of US GDP in 2025 is almost zero. The reason is that a large amount of AI hardware relies on imports, and the related capital expenditures are offset by the import item in GDP accounting, thus not directly driving domestic output.
