Apple Invests Heavily in Smart Home Ecosystem, Plans to Launch Door Locks, Doorbells with LG
Apple will release its new smart home products on October 13th: HomeView with A18 chip, new HomePod mini with S10 chip, and Apple TV with A19 chip. According to Gurman on October 12th, HomeView comes in desktop and wall-mounted versions with a display, positioned as the central control hub for home smart systems, and is expected to be released in mid-November; the other two models will be available for sale on October 30th, and are expected to further integrate Apple's smart home ecosystem.
