710 Yuan AI Necklace 'Friend' Goes Viral: 21-Year-Old Genius Starts New Trend in AI Hardware

Former Mercer Island High School student Avi Schiffmann has innovated again, launching an AI-driven pendant named 'Friend' priced at $99. It aims to interact with users as a friend, collecting information from daily life and providing insights from an AI perspective to enhance emotional connections. The device allows conversations by touching the central light, with AI responses sent through a companion app. It also learns user context to provide personalized feedback. 'Friend' is built on Meta's Llama 3.1 model, designed to embody human emotions.
