Artificial intelligence workflow automation tool Relay has announced its closure, with its founder and CEO Jacob Bank and some employees joining the Google Chrome team. Relay will stop paying user services on September 14, and free users lost access on August 15. The shutdown plan was announced in July. The tool was launched in 2021, positioning itself as an AI version of Zapier, automating repetitive tasks such as document writing, editing, and project management.
