Apple Plans to Acquire Computer Vision Startup Prompt AI to Further Expand into the Smart Home Industry
Apple plans to acquire the team and technology of computer vision startup Prompt AI, using a talent and technology acquisition approach to quickly enhance its AI capabilities. Prompt AI was founded in 2023 with a team of only 11 people. Its product Seemour can identify people, pets, and objects through home cameras and describe them in natural language.
