xAI Grok Officially Supports Alipay and UnionPay; Mainland China Users Get 50% Off for the First Month
November 1 news: Musk's xAI (also known as SpaceXAI) flagship AI assistant Grok now fully supports China UnionPay and Alipay payments; the region options on the subscription page also allow direct selection of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. This expansion of payment methods did not come out of nowhere. Previously, Cursor took the lead in supporting Alipay payments on April 9, 2025, and related developments had long been foreshadowed.
