SenseTime Founder Tang Xiaowu Passes Away Unexpectedly
Tang Xiaowu, the founder of SenseTime and an artificial intelligence scientist, passed away unexpectedly due to illness on December 15 at the age of 55. Professor Tang was a pioneer in computer vision in China, achieving a world-leading position in facial recognition technology and natural language processing.
