Musk's xAI Builds the World's Largest Wastewater Treatment Plant in Memphis, Saving 1.9 Billion Liters of Drinking Water Annually
Musk's xAI has launched an 80 million dollar wastewater treatment plant project in Memphis, Texas, aiming to alleviate pressure on local aquifers and drinking water shortages. The plant uses the world's largest ceramic membrane bioreactor, equipped with 13,000 membrane modules, covering an area of over 900,000 square feet (approximately 83,613 square meters), equivalent to 16 football fields. It solves problems through wastewater recycling and reuse.
