Tencent Enters the Personal Agent Market: Code-named Handy Bot, It Has Started a Covert Internal Test on WeChat
"Dujia" reported that Tencent is secretly developing a personal intelligent agent called "Handy Bot," with plans to launch an independent app. It has already launched a service account on WeChat, with the introduction as "Your Personal AI Agent." Its positioning differs from traditional chatbots: the latter operates on a question-and-answer basis, with tasks ending once the conversation concludes; Handy Bot aims to remain active in the background, allowing users to provide macro-level goals, after which the AI can continue tasks in the cloud, reducing reliance on continuous conversations.
