The Emergence of AI Writing Tools: A Helping Hand for Students or a New Concern for Education?
Bilibili content creator 'Geek Bay' released a video on the AI homework writing robot 'Dream Weaver', sparking heated discussions online. This robot can automatically answer various academic questions using an AI large model, mimicking handwriting and even turning pages to flatten book pages, showcasing a 'humanized' design. After months of development, the tool was upgraded from version 1.0 to 2.0, featuring a CoreXY structure and advanced AI model, which enhanced its stability and accuracy. Although there is still room for improvement in its efficiency, it presents new possibilities to alleviate students' homework burdens. However, this invention has also raised concerns about the essence of education.
