Wyoming Journalist Sparks Controversy by Using AI to Forge Reports and Quotes
A scandal has recently emerged in Wyoming involving a journalist who resigned after using artificial intelligence to fabricate quotes and stories. Local journalist CJ Baker exposed that quotes from the Wyoming governor and local district attorney were questionable, and the sentences in the article appeared mechanical. This incident began with a report about comedian Larry Cable Guy being selected as the grand marshal of the Cody Stampede Parade. After meeting with the journalist Aaron Percha, he admitted to using AI and resigned shortly thereafter.
