Intel has launched its first AI-focused chip, designed to enhance automotive voice assistants and active safety features. Zeekr, a brand under China's Geely, will be the first car manufacturer to adopt the new chip, with plans to release its first product by the end of the year. The chip will improve in-car experiences, including voice assistants, video conferencing, and gaming options for passengers in the rear seats. Intel aims to roll out a series of software-defined vehicle chips by the end of 2024, driving the industry's shift towards software-defined solutions.
