alphaXiv: An Open Academic Discussion Platform for Preprint Papers
The alphaXiv platform was founded by Stanford University students Rehaan Ahmad and Raj Palleti to enhance the discussion and evaluation of arXiv preprint papers. By slightly modifying the arXiv paper URL, users can directly access the discussion page of the paper on alphaXiv, allowing for side-by-side display of the original text and comments, facilitating reading and discussion simultaneously. The platform features an intuitive commenting system, direct participation of authors in discussions, paper search functionality, showcase of popular topics, and a Chrome extension for users.
