Qualcomm Launches New Snapdragon AR1+ Gen 1 Processor with Support for Device-Side AI
Qualcomm has officially announced its all-new Snapdragon AR1+ Gen processor, designed to provide stronger support for smart glasses. Although the new processor only shows a slight performance improvement compared to the previous Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 chip, its biggest highlight is the direct support for device-side artificial intelligence. This means users can enjoy convenient AI services simply by wearing smart glasses without relying on smartphones or the cloud. The Snapdragon AR1+ Gen 1 has a smaller size, with an area reduced by 28%.
