Japan's SoftBank Group plans to acquire ABB Group's robotics business for $5.375 billion, with the transaction expected to be completed by 2026. The ABB robotics division currently employs about 7,000 people and primarily focuses on industrial robots for picking, cleaning, and similar tasks.
