According to the August 2025 AI Application Industry Monthly Report released by QuestMobile, QuestMobile revealed that Doubao achieved a monthly active user count of 157 million with a month-over-month growth rate of 6.6%, surpassing its competitor DeepSeek and once again securing the top position in the monthly active user count among native applications.
At the same time, Tencent Yuan also performed well during the same period, with a month-over-month growth rate of 22.4% in its monthly active user count, ranking third in the top 10 monthly active users among native applications, with a user base between 10 million and 100 million. Kimi ranks fourth, and Ji Meng AI ranks fifth. This data indicates that in the current competitive market environment, major AI applications are actively competing for user attention.
In the top 50 AI applications by monthly active user count in August 2025, more than half of the applications come from In-App plugin forms. Notably, Doubao, as a PC client application, successfully entered the list, reflecting its long-term user base and advantages in cross-device usage.
Specific data shows that the average monthly usage times of Doubao on the PC web and client increased by 12.2% and 12.1%, respectively. Meanwhile, the average monthly usage days of Tencent Yuan on the PC web and client also increased by 32.6% and 11.2%, respectively. This trend shows that users are increasingly relying on these two applications in their daily lives.
