Recently, at a press conference held by the Chongqing Municipal Committee of Cyberspace Administration, it was revealed that Chongqing is currently conducting a special campaign to address the abuse of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Since the beginning of this year, more than 10 AI products, such as "AI Prescribing," have been removed from the market, demonstrating Chongqing's emphasis on the regulation of AI technology.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, although it has brought many conveniences to people's lives, issues such as abuse, false information, and data security risks have also emerged. Wei Chun stated that Chongqing will attach equal importance to safety and development, and is committed to promoting the healthy and orderly development of generative AI.
To address the issue of AI abuse, Chongqing requires website platforms to label AI-generated content, using a "labeling" method to help the public identify it. At the same time, the city is pushing platforms to establish and improve content review mechanisms to enhance their ability to detect and identify false information. The campaign also focuses on prominent issues such as using AI technology to create false information, impersonating others, and online water armies. It has legally dealt with 56 illegal引流 accounts and cleaned up more than 1,500 AI-generated false pieces of information.
